I've always believed in walking to the beat of my own drum and expressing myself in that fashion. Growing up, I was always given the confidence to use my mind; but I want to use my body just as well; I have always wanted to express my body as an essential part of the person I am – connected, positive, creative, and adventurous. Nude modeling was a wonderful chance to test if I was as freethinking and self-confident as I thought I was.
When I work with my body I am reminded that the natural beauty of nakedness, its candor and it’s power, is part of what makes life beautiful and powerful itself. I know a piece is done when I intuitively feel the balance of the great paradox of being a woman – showcasing great confidence, power and sensuality.
My unconscious mind is my trusted teacher. When my work is going well, I am filled with a sense of tranquil euphoria. When people see my work, I'd like them to not just see, but to feel – the shadows, the lines, the curves created.

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I --
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference...
