Moonraker (1979)

A space shuttle called the Moonraker, built by Drax Industries, is on its way to the U.K when it is hijacked in mid-air and the crew of the 747 carrying it is killed. Bond immediately is called into action, and starts the investigation with Hugo Drax himself. While at the Drax laboratories, Bond meets the brilliant & stunning Dr. Holly Goodhead, a NASA astronaut & CIA agent who is investigating Drax for the U.S. Government. One of Drax's thugs, the sinister Chan, attempts to kill 007 at the lab but when that fails, he follows Bond to Venice and tries again there. Bond & Goodhead follow Drax's trail to Brazil, where they once again run into the 7' Goliath Jaws, a towering giant with metal teeth. Escaping from him, they discover the existence of a huge space station undetected by U.S. or Soviet radar, and a horrible plot by Drax to employ nerve gas in a genocidal project! Bond & Holly must quickly find a way to stop Hugo Drax before his horrific plans can be put into effect...
Corinne Clery

Corinne Clery, byname of Corinna Piccolo, (born March 23, 1950) is a French actress. Born in Paris, she started her career in the late sixties under the name Corinne Piccoli.

She first came to prominence in the controversial film Story of O (1975) (Histoire d'O). She modeled for a famous cover of French magazine Lui with a huge copy of the book. She is famous for being the Bond girl Corinne Dufour in the James Bond film Moonraker (1979).

She also starred opposite other Bond alumni Barbara Bach and Richard Kiel in The Humanoid. She also starred in the film, Covert Action, with actor David Janssen. Most of the her movies, after Moonraker, were made in Italy.


Lois Chiles
Was the original choice for Agent Triple X (Anya Amasova) in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), but as a moment of fate, got her chance as the 007 girl in Moonraker (1979) after Lewis Gilbert sat next to her on an airline flight.
Before entering films, she was one of the very top models of the 1970s.
Graduate of the University of Texas, Austin in 1969.
Attended prestigious Finch College where she was discovered by a Glamour magazine editor and that led to her fashion modeling career.In 1982, she starred on the popular drama Dallas for one year, alongside Ken Kercheval. 10 years later, they played husband and wife on an episode of In The Heat Of The Night

Was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2001, not long after the death of her father M. Clay Chiles (brother of oil tycoon Eddie Chiles).
She is very active in raising money for the research and prevention of Hodgkin's Disease, particularly because her brother's life was taken by same.
Her last name is pronounced like "files" with a "ch".
