Sarah Dunn came onto the Channel 4 soap on the 12 September 1996 in the forty third episode, walking into the video shop. Mandy came into the village at the tender age of 14 as a "wannabe supermodel" and quickly formed a friendship with Ollie Benson.
In 2003 she appeared in the Brookside DVD special Unfinished Business and in 2004 in the fitness DVD Hollyoaks Dance workout.
After a decade playing the role Dunn left Hollyoaks in 2006. Since her departure she has filmed recurring roles in BBC One series The Innocence Project and Doctors, filmed the lead role in the independent film The Best Years co-starring Vinnie Jones and Billy Boyd and appeared in the short film "Northern Cowboys" a UK Film Council co production.
In December 2006 she turned down a £50,000 offer to appear in Celebrity Big Brother
In spring 2007 she will return to Hollyoaks for a two episode stint.
Dunn is currently training for the Flora London Marathon 2007 which she will run for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
